Roundedcube announces the implementation of OpenRealtor, its Internet Data Exchange (IDX) web service for real estate company websites. IDX is the standard method of providing real estate Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data for properties, agents and brokerage offices. OpenRealtor by Roundedcube taps into this powerful data and provides seamless website integration in part to its development on the ASP.NET platform. Recently, OpenRealtor has been integrated into the completely redeveloped and redesigned website for Schneider Real Estate – www.schneidersells.com – a real estate brokerage firm located in St. Charles, Missouri.

Potential homebuyers on schneidersells.com can now search the entire region for any actively listed residential property. They can filter their search by location, price, home types, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and a host of other details to help them refine their home quest to help them find exactly what they want.

Once the user chooses the home they’d like, OpenRealtor pulls IDX data to provide them with a wealth of information about the property – even down to what appliances it has – as well as a gallery of descriptive photographs. A further enhancement of OpenRealtor’s integration into Schneider’s website will be implemented when the second phase of the site redevelopment is complete in June, 2006.
